PUSH: Emerging Artists’ Exhibition

The Pentimento Collective proudly presents the 13th Annual PUSH: Emerging Artists' Exhibition, featuring works by undergraduate students of the University of Calgary. This exhibition aims to "push" our emerging artists into the public sphere.
The Pentimento Collective is a student-run organization from the Department of Art and Art Histories at the University of Calgary. We are dedicated to promoting student artists from our university and supporting the growth of emerging talents. Our goal is to provide a platform for emerging artists to come together and showcase their works, while gaining artistic experience and engaging with a broader art community. Our collective holds two exhibitions every year, PULL and PUSH, which feature works that "pull" inspiration from various sources, as well as, "push" boundaries and explore innovative ways of art-making.
Through student-curated exhibitions and opportunities, the Pentimento Collective continues to bring artists, makers, and art enthusiasts together to celebrate creativity and foster a vibrant artistic community.

PUSH 2023 is available for viewing starting May 17 until May 28, 2023 at Contemporary Calgary. The gallery is open from Wednesday to Saturday at 12 pm to 7 pm, and on Sunday at 12 pm to 5 pm with an admission fee of $10.
