Join us on May 6th for the album release party of avant-pop artist Ryan Bourne’s highly anticipated sophomore record Plant City - a lush, psych-laden song cycle co-produced by Chad VanGaalen and Chris Dadge.
The evening will open with a special screening of music videos from the record, followed by performances by special guests Cîpayak - a brand new avant-pop project from Métis artists Sarah Houle and Shane Ghostkeeper, the visionary force behind Calgary's beloved art-rock ensemble Ghostkeeper - and Ryan Bourne & the Plant City Band, interpreting Bourne's idiosyncratic takes on garage pop, glammed-out rock and dark psych-folk, all set inside a "crytpoflora" themed stage design by Rebecca Reid & Ryan Bourne, in Contemporary Calgary's iconic Dome Theatre.
