A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made LOOK: The Dada Ball—presented by Rogers—such an extraordinary success! It was an unforgettable evening of avant-garde art, marking the tenth anniversary of LOOK and Contemporary Calgary.
Guests stepped into a world of eccentric accessories, mismatched patterns, and bold colours, embracing the whimsical and rebellious nature of the Dada art movement. Since its inception in 2014, LOOK has evolved from a visionary concept into a vibrant reality, supporting Calgary's modern and contemporary art scene. Event photos are available.
Special thanks to our Honorary Chairs Morris & Ann Dancyger, Marcel Dzama, and Faye HeavyShield, along with our LOOK 2024 Chair, Board of Directors Co-Chair, and founder of MODE Models International, Kelly Streit, for continuing to make LOOK one of the top galas in the country. It was an evening of unparalleled creativity and celebration that will make a lasting impact on Contemporary Calgary's programs and exhibitions.
We are proud to report that we raised a record-breaking $2.2 million dollars, made possible by the entire community of support received, including an extraordinary gift from Heather Edwards of $1 million in support for our newly renovated theatre.
