LATE NIGHT THURSDAY

I Love Dick TV Series Marathon

Thursday, September 28, 2017
6:00-9:00 PM | FREE

Our first Late Night event of the season will feature drinks, chips and guacamole from Native Tongues and Kevin Bacon! The evening will feature a marathon of the popular TV series I Love Dick, adapted from the cult novel by Chris Kraus, keynote speaker from our recent symposium.

"Adapted from the lauded feminist novel, I Love Dick is set in a colourful academic community in Marfa, Texas. It tells the story of a struggling married couple, Chris and Sylvere, and their obsession with a charismatic professor named Dick. Told in Rashomon-style shifts of POV, I Love Dick charts the unraveling of a marriage, the awakening of an artist and the deification of a reluctant messiah." -Amazon

This marathon will run just over three hours but we will be taking cerveza and guacamole breaks on the hour! Arrive early with your friends to claim one of our letter couches.
