L23K Gala raises $1,000,000 in support of Contemporary Calgary.

Thank you to everyone who made L23K—Presented by Rogers—possible! It was an incredible evening inspired by our brutalist building and art, but most importantly, by the people who came out to support arts and culture in our community.

A very special thank you to our Honorary Chairs Robert Houle, RCA, Suzanne Rogers, Wendy Tilby & Amanda Forbis, and Hung Vanngo, our Guest of Honour Jean Grand-Maître, C.M., LL.D. h.c. and our incredible L23K Chair and Board Member Kelly Streit for continuing to make LOOK one of the top galas in the country.

We are proud to report that we raised $1,070,000, with all proceeds supporting Contemporary Calgary's expansive programs and exhibitions. Most importantly, for the first time everyone who came to LOOK received an annual membership to the gallery—that’s 1,194 new members—a 33% increase overnight!

For an event like LOOK, there are simply too many people to thank with words, but we’d ask each of you reading to scroll to the bottom of this page and take a few minutes to appreciate all the sponsors who made LOOK possible.
